Hello to all of our customers! We had a little break with January having 5 Saturdays in it but we are ready to go now! This is the real deal chicken. I was reading today in a book by Joel Salatin about the chicken industry. These birds are raised in a chicken house that is literally covered with fecal matter. The dust covers everything including the birds. They usually have large respiratory lesions due to the constant breathing of ammonia. It sounded like an awful life. Our birds are in movable chicken tractors with access to clean water, grass and feed 24/7. These birds are never confined and fed antibiotics, hormones, arsenic (this increases their appetite) and artificial light.
