Wow is it HOT!! We spent today in the purple pea patch cutting the dreaded red weed. It was too wet during the weeks after planting to cultivate so the weeds were up to 5 feet tall! It took 6 people, 5 machetes, and a 3 blade hoe to get the job done. The purple hull peas are free to grow!! We are exhausted but smiling at the accomplishment of finishing a tough job. It looks like a few more weeks for the peas. We will be at the market Saturday with a whole list of goodies!!

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments for: this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
